History of Reiki

Throughout the history of mankind, healing methods have always existed. This knowledge was guarded by the mystery schools of most ancient cultures which was available only to a very few people.
Reiki originated in Tibet thousands of years ago. The Tibetan monks had mastered the science and art of taping Universal life force energy (Reiki) for man’s use in healing and self-transformation, which eventually lead to spiritual enlightenment. This knowledge was guarded and preserved by the mystery school of ancient cultures and was available in its entirety, only to very few people, like priests & spiritual leaders who in turn passed it on to their disciples by word of mouth.
Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan rediscovered the key in thousand five hundred old Sanskrit Sutras at the end of the 18th Century which led to the recovery of thousand year old tradition of healing.
